Production Support Assistant The Production Support Assistant position is responsible for reviewing, coordinating, and expediting repair parts within the standard production flow. This role ensures quality, on-time delivery, and constant customer awareness throughout the repair process by communicating revised delivery expectations through phone, email, and fax as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Expedite and communicate when expected delivery dates are missed for the following production statuses:
- Awaiting Assignment / Dispatched to Technician / Being Repaired
- Awaiting Parts / Parts Research / Parts OrderedQA Further Evaluation / BER Evaluation
- Enhance, improve, and manage customer communication processes regarding repair status and delivery expectations
- Ensure customers are provided with all available options through purchasing, sales, and engineering as required
- Manage follow-up processes to confirm customer satisfaction after corrective action
- Assist with data research and fact-finding to support technician monthly performance reviews and metric tracking
- Support Repair Production Team Leaders and Technicians with inventory management related to production processes
- Perform other duties, tasks, or work as assigned
Qualifications:- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
- General working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong focus on department growth and process improvement

Education & Experience:- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- One to three years of related experience and/or training
- Technical or industrial product knowledge a plus
