Law Enforcement Investigator II - Sworn Arson Detective This advertisement is for a Bureau of Fire, Arson & Explosives Investigations detective within the Department of Financial Services, Criminal Investigations Division. The position requires three or more years of sworn law enforcement experience and active certification as a Florida law enforcement officer. Preference is given to candidates with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, accounting, finance, fire science, or computer science. Special consideration may be given to bilingual candidates. Minimum qualifications include good written and oral communication skills, mediation and negotiating abilities, and proficiency in documenting investigation activities.
