Job Description:
The Journeyman Carpenter will support residential construction, commercial construction, and renovation and restoration projects. This role will work independently, as part of a small carpentry crew, or within a multi-trade construction team, reporting day to day to the Construction Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
Interpret blueprints and construction plans.
Perform framing and finish carpentry.
Install cabinets and trim.
Construct formwork.
Measure and calculate materials accurately.
Operate power tools safely and effectively.
Follow site safety practices and applicable building codes.
Inspect completed work for quality and precision.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of carpentry experience.
OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification.
Blueprint reading, framing, finish carpentry, and cabinetmaking skills.
Knowledge of construction mathematics, power tools, building codes, and worksite safety.
