Senior Building Inspection Technician Our client is seeking a Senior Building Inspection Technician to support quality assurance and compliance inspections on active construction projects, with a focus on commercial roofing systems. This role requires US citizenship, with TS clearance preferred.
Pay: $67.00 - $80.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:- Review shop drawings, construction plans, and specifications; inspect active work for compliance
- Identify deviations from approved plans and documentation
- Prepare daily field reports documenting work status, activities, manpower, and equipment
- Maintain records of construction deficiencies and punch list items
- Take and organize photographs of major construction activities with dates and documentation
- Verify quantities of work performed, materials used, and contractor resource adequacy
- Verify time and materials expense reports from contractors
- Notify Construction Project Manager of potential construction problems
- Attend progress meetings
Required Qualifications:
US Citizenship required (TS clearance preferred)7+ years of experience in the construction industry as a Construction Inspector, QA professional, or Construction Manager Demonstrated working knowledge of commercial roofing systems design, assembly, and installation
