CFD Application EngineerKETIV Technologies is seeking a skilled and motivated CFD Application Engineer to join our engineering team with a focus on Ansys CFD tools, especially in the field of turbomachinery. This role involves providing technical expertise, simulation support, and project delivery services to clients across aerospace, energy, automotive, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Ansys Fluent, CFX, and the Ansys Turbomachinery Suite (BladeGen, TurboGrid, VISTA), combined with a solid foundation in rotating machinery design, aerodynamics, and thermal-fluid analysis. A passion for solving complex engineering challenges and supporting cutting-edge technology development is essential.
Responsibilities include:
Providing pre-sales support by leading technical discussions with customers to identify simulation needs and recommend Ansys-based solutions, and validating proposed solutions through product presentations, demonstrations and evaluations. Delivering post-sales support to end users, including simulation guidance, workflow training, issue resolution, and licensing assistance. Executing and delivering consulting services and training for Ansys CFD tools, including developing proposals, delivering simulation reports, and presenting results. Supporting simulations involving: internal flows in rotating equipment (compressors, pumps, turbines), blade design and meshing using BladeGen and TurboGrid, general-purpose thermal and multiphase CFD simulations, turbulence modeling (RANS, LES etc.), and combustion simulations in gas turbine, boiler, other applications.
