AERIAL LINEMAN - SYRACUSE, NY

AERIAL LINEMAN - SYRACUSE, NYA successful Aerial Line Person (Aerial Construction Lineman) shall access specific areas to install, maintain, and/or repair a customer's telecommunications equipment. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of telecommunications construction; familiarity with aerial lift devices, utility lines and poles, and the functionality of each; ability to use cable placement equipment... and tools; ability to identify and troubleshoot problems.· Must be 21 or older· Have a good driving record· Able to pass Background and Drug screening· Able to obtain DOT Medical Certification· Able to work with minimal supervision and complete tasks assigned in a timely mannerQUALIFICATIONS:Able to climb poles as neededAble to splice coax cableAble to build aerial plants to include strand, coax, and/or fiberAble to complete pole transfersOTHER REQUIREMENTS:Bucket trucks and tools are providedGTS is based in Canton, GA with operations nationally.
