Senior Accounts Payable A growing importer and distributor of automotive parts, electronic components, and housing products. The headquarters is located in Santa Fe Springs, CA. We are currently seeking a Senior Accounts Payable professional to join our accounting department. This position is a replacement for a retiring staff member, requiring an immediate start to ensure a smooth transition.
Essential Duties:- Verify invoices received from brokers, freight companies, and carriers against internal accrual records.
- Research and investigate any billing variances.
- Handle tariff processes from CBP (Customs and Border Protection), including refiling and refunds.
- Process invoices utilizing Oracle.
- Maintain and accurately organize files of invoices and back-up documents.
- Follow up actively on pending invoices and take care of internal and external inquiries.
- Execute monthly closing responsibilities, including the close of the costing module in Oracle on the last business day, and AP trade accounts/freight accrual account reconciliations at the beginning of the month.

Salary / Benefit:

Qualifications:
4-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with a strong emphasis on processing broker and carrier bills. Experience in the import business and custom brokerage is highly preferred. Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset. Detail-oriented with proficiency in MS Office and Excel. Highly organized with excellent record-keeping skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines.
Preferred: Knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud.
