Key Responsibilities: Provide individual counseling sessions through video chat, focusing on techniques to improve clients' mental well-being. Facilitate meaningful dialogue by encouraging clients to express their emotions and experiences, helping them gain insight into their behaviors and relationships. Act as an advocate for clients, supporting them in defining achievable goals and navigating pathways to reach those goals. Assess clients’ mental health conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based strategies tailored to their specific needs. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client sessions while minimizing paperwork through our streamlined administration processes. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with a diverse client base that has been prescreened to ensure stability and low acuity, allowing you to focus on therapeutic growth rather than crisis management. This emphasis on helping clients with manageable challenges will enable you to employ solution-focused techniques and engage clients effectively in their mental health journeys.

Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling from an accredited institution. An independent license to practice in California (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) — provisional or limited licenses are not accepted. Demonstrated ability to make sound clinical evaluations and formulate effective treatment strategies. Exceptional interpersonal skills combined with a sympathetic and compassionate demeanor, fostering a supportive therapeutic environment. Proficiency in using technology for telehealth applications and a strong comfort level with virtual therapy platforms. Preferred Experience Experience working with a wide range of clients including those with low acuity mental health concerns. Familiarity with evidence-based counseling methodologies and practices. Background in administering long-term therapeutic relationships that foster client growth and success.

Compensation and Benefits: This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, based on your caseload and experience.
