Fire Protection And Public Safety Education Program Develop and conduct the overall Fire Protection and Public Safety Education Program for the agency. Instructs department personnel in all phases of fire protection and prevention techniques. Conducts periodic and special inspections of facilities and of life safety systems and implement appropriate regulations with respect to compliance with prescribed methods and codes and requirements peculiar to these types of facilities. Develops the program based upon the training needs of personnel as defined in DoD instructions, Army regulations, NFPA standards and approved methods and techniques. Responds to emergency incidents and assumes immediate control until relieved by the next ranking supervisor.
