Description:
American Traveler is hiring a Psychiatric RN for an acute Behavioral Health Unit with evening shifts and at least 1 year of experience required. Details Acute Behavioral Health Unit (Psychiatric Unit) setting Evening shifts of 8 hours, 2:30pm to 11:00pm, every other weekend40 guaranteed hours per week Uses EPIC EMR system Facility will provide training on managing agitated patients and safe restraint techniques
Requirements:
- Active RN license (NE or Compact) requiredBLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience requiredBSN not required
- Prior lock-down unit experience considered favorably even without young adult psychiatric experience
Additional Information:
- Provide direct care to patients within a behavioral health setting
- Opportunity may lead to permanent backfill consideration
- Training period expected due to specialized nature of the unit
