Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant – Ownership Accounting:
- Manage accounting and financial reporting for multiple entities, trusts, and investment vehicles.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Account for investment transactions including purchases, sales, capital calls, distributions, and gains/losses.
- Monitor cash positions and support treasury and liquidity management activities.
- Partner with tax professionals to support reporting, tax planning, and payment processes.
- Prepare financial schedules, management reports, and ad hoc analyses.
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant – Ownership Accounting:
- 3–5 years of accounting experience with strong general ledger and financial reporting knowledge.
- Experience with multi-entity accounting and/or investment accounting preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or active CPA candidate preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a complex financial environment.
