Key Responsibilities:
Provide flexible PRN coverage for staff vacation schedules through October 13, 2026, maintaining high standards of clinical care.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and detailed health histories.
Order appropriate diagnostic tests and implement treatment plans under physician supervision.
Manage patient referrals and follow-up care.
Collaborate with practice staff in team meetings and support clinical initiatives, including meeting quality and incentive-driven measures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Credentials: Graduate of an accredited primary care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with a valid Georgia medical/license in good standing.
Prescriptive Authority: Valid Schedule II/2N DEA license and active BCLS/ACLS certifications.
Experience:
3+ years in primary care, internal medicine, cardiology, or infectious disease preferred (new graduates considered). Background in utilization management is a plus.
