Pricing Associate

Role Description: The Pricing Associate is a full-time, on-site role based at our Springfield, VA location. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate and competitive pricing across product categories, including price changes, shelf label verification, and coordination with store leadership on promotions and discounts. The Pricing Associate will monitor competitor pricing, analyze sales and margin data, and recommend price adjustments in line with company guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include updating pricing systems, auditing in-store price accuracy, assisting with weekly ad and promotional setups, and communicating changes to relevant team members. The role also supports store teams by helping resolve pricing-related questions and contributing to a well-organized, efficient store environment.

Qualifications: Strong analytical skills to review pricing, sales trends, and margin performance, and to make data-informed recommendations. Clear and professional communication skills to collaborate with store management, team members, and occasionally customers on pricing matters. Foundational finance skills, such as understanding basic profit margins, cost structures, and promotional impact on revenue. Customer service and sales awareness, with the ability to support store teams and help ensure a positive shopping experience. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and price auditing. Comfort working with POS systems, spreadsheets, AI and pricing software; intermediate Excel skills are a plus. Prior experience in retail, grocery, or merchandising is preferred but not required.

Salary range: $50,000-65,000 based on experience 20% employee-only discount on purchases made at Streets Market Medical, Dental, Vision insurance Paid Holiday & Paid Time Off (PTO) to use for sickness or vacation 401K Plan (+ 4% company match)
