Registered Nurse, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This position provides nursing care for patients recovering from anesthesia and procedures. The role requires recent full-time equivalent nursing experience, an active Registered Nurse license, and current life support certifications.
Job Details
Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications:
One year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last three years.
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field.
Procedural sedation competency.
At least two years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting.
At least two years of clinical care experience with pediatric patients, preferably in an emergency department, intensive care unit, or Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting.
At least two years of experience providing procedural sedation in an outpatient setting.
At least two years of experience with pain management injection procedures.
