Neurosurgery APP Central Coast of California Join an established neurosurgery practice in Santa Maria offering a Monday-through-Friday schedule with a balanced mix of operative, clinic, and administrative responsibilities. The role provides significant spine exposure, consistent surgical volume, and the opportunity to work with a degree of independence within a collaborative practice.
Position Highlights:- Mix of neurosurgery clinic and operative responsibilities
- High volume of spine cases
- Approximately 1-4 surgeries per day
- Clinic volume of approximately 12 patients per day, including new and returning patients
- See postoperative patients as part of ongoing surgical care
- Schedule & Call
- Monday through Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or call
- 2 days per week in the OR and 2.5 days per week in clinic
- Dedicated 0.5 day for administrative responsibilities
- Office conveniently located near campus
- Compensation & Benefits Compensation: $75 to $110 per hour, depending on experience Bonus: Quality incentive Sign-On: Sign-on bonus available Relocation: Relocation assistance available
- Candidate Requirements
- Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Prior experience in the OR, neurosurgery, or pain management
- Experience with surgical patients and postoperative care
- Ability to work with a degree of independence
- Live & Work in the Central Coast of California
