Radiology Tech to Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

TriStar Health is seeking a Radiology Tech to Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to support advanced cardiovascular care in our hospital cath lab. In this role, you’ll perform high-quality diagnostic imaging, assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, and ensure strict adherence to radiation safety and infection control standards. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, support patient preparation and monitoring, maintain equipment readiness, and contribute to a patient-first, safety-focused environment with opportunities for growth. Perform high-quality radiologic imaging for cardiac catheterization procedures Prepare, operate, and troubleshoot imaging and cath lab equipment Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety and infection control protocols Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and monitor patient status Document procedures, imaging data, and patient information accurately Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and technologists in a multidisciplinary team Maintain supplies, room readiness, and equipment quality checks Participate in emergency response during cath lab procedures Support ongoing quality improvement and compliance initiatives Cardiac catheterization imaging Fluoroscopy operation Radiation safety protocols Hemodynamic monitoring support Sterile technique and infection control Contrast media administration support Cardiac anatomy and physiology knowledge Cath lab equipment operation and troubleshooting Electronic medical record documentation Emergency response in cath lab Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) State radiologic technologist licensure (as applicable) Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred Previous cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology experience preferred
