Wytheville Operations Manager

Job Description: A reputable leader in the custom residential construction industry seeks a General Operations Manager in Wytheville, VA.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of custom home building, experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, a strong work ethic, problem-solving abilities, and a leadership style focused on serving others. It is preferred that the candidate is familiar with the Wytheville / Tri-Cities region and has established relationships with local vendors and subcontractors to facilitate a smooth transition into the role. We are in search of an individual with a positive attitude and exceptional leadership skills to guide our Production & Sales processes while fostering team growth. Here is an overview of key responsibilities: Priorities Overview: Assess new leads with Sales TeamReview advertising strategies and approve budgets Provide weekly updates to Division President Monitor sales pipeline, contracts, starts, warranties, settlements, etc Discuss projections and obstacles with managers and Corporate leadership Conduct job inspections when necessary Facilitate final review meetings Conduct plan reviews Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and supervise employees, subcontractors, and vendors Utilize networking skills Negotiate contracts and engage subcontractors and suppliers Review overhead costs and analyze general P&L statements Handle customer concerns and communicate resolutions
