Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a Title and Survey Paralegal Specialist to join their Real Estate group.
Schedule: Hybrid 3/2
Locations: New York or Los Angeles office
Responsibilities:- Coordinate due diligence for various real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions
- Facilitate communications between attorneys and other parties involved in transactions
- Review and summarize title commitments and surveys, preparing objection letters as necessary
- Work closely with title companies to clear titles and obtain title policies
- Obtain, review, and summarize entity organizational documents and various lien searches
- Prepare and file/record a variety of documents, including deeds, mortgages, and UCC financing statements
- Prepare closing checklists and coordinate the closing process
- Prepare and distribute closing binders
Qualifications:
*A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
*ABA-approved paralegal certificate is preferred
*At least 8+ years of paralegal experience involving commercial real estate required
*Law firm experience
