Job Description: Experienced Multi-Head Embroidery Operator (Barudan) Hartford, CT
Schedule:
Full-time, on-site, [days and shift hours]GimaSport runs a 55-head Barudan embroidery floor alongside screen printing and DTF, producing high-volume decorated apparel for corporate, team, and retail customers in the Hartford area. We need an operator who already knows production embroidery. This is not a training position. You must have all of these:2+ years running commercial multi-head embroidery machines in a production shop Experience running several heads at once and keeping them productive all shift Hooping skill on caps, knits, wovens, and performance fabrics Ability to fix thread breaks, tension, bobbin, and pucker problems yourself, without step-by-step help Ability to read work orders and proofs and check placement before running a full quantity
Bonus:
Barudan experience, ShopWorks OnSite, Wilcom or Hatch, promotional-products shop background, training other operators.
What you'll do:
Run and monitor multiple heads, hoop and load jobs to spec, inspect work and pull defects, do daily machine maintenance, and update job progress in ShopWorks.
