CM Maintenance Coordinator

Job Location: Canyon Fuel Company – Fossil Rock MineRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Plans, directs and monitors all activity for continuous miner maintenance including setup, production, and recovery. Coordinates support of Continuous Miner maintenance and outby crews with appropriate mine management. Responsible for attaining optimum level of operating and cost efficiency for C.M. production activities. Recommends and implements improvements in equipment and production methods. Conducts meetings and organizes training to improve overall continuous miner performance. Sets goals, priorities, and standards through communication and cooperation with all departments. Responsible for recommending Continuous Miner equipment selection/modifications. Will play an active role in contracts, equipment specifications, warranties and price negotiations. Approves C.M. material and supply orders to an authorized approval level. Implements all safety policies and procedures related to an injury free work environment. Develops, implements, and monitors cost reduction plans and productivity improvements.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated successful underground coal mining supervisory experience
