Associate Attorney – Civil Litigation (Defense) | Hybrid/Remote – New York, NY$125,000–$150,000/Annually + Benefits
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of litigated claims from case development through trial preparation.
Develop case-specific defense strategies for toxic tort and civil litigation matters.
Draft motions, briefs, legal memoranda, written discovery, and client updates.
Take and defend depositions and attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
Analyze discovery materials, medical records, and expert evidence.
Qualifications:- 2–4 years of defense litigation experience; toxic tort experience preferred.
- Active licenses in New York and New Jersey, in good standing.
- Substantial deposition experience.
- At least one year of courtroom experience.
- Salary and Other Compensation:
- The annual salary for this position is between $125,000-$150,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, years of practice, and other qualifications.
