What We're Looking For:
Valid CALT certification required.
Previous experience as a Reading Specialist in a school setting.
Proven ability to deliver individualized, intensive reading interventions.
Experience working with students on IEPs and documenting progress toward goals.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with case managers and educational teams.
Reliable internet access and proficiency with virtual learning platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver explicit, systematic reading intervention tailored to a single students unique needs in a virtual format.
- Schedule and conduct sessions for 5 hours per week.
- Collect baseline data to inform instruction and monitor student progress over time.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all services provided and track progress toward specified IEP goals.
- Regularly communicate with the students case manager and the broader school team to ensure alignment and support.
- Adapt instruction based on student response and assessment results.
