APPLY NOWThe Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations within the manufacturing facility to ensure optimal equipment reliability, minimal downtime, and safe working conditions. This role supervises maintenance technicians, coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and mechanics.
Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Ensure timely troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Minimize production downtime by responding promptly to equipment breakdowns.
Monitor equipment performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain maintenance records, logs, and reports using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
Coordinate with production and engineering teams to support operational goals.
Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance supplies.
Train and mentor maintenance staff to improve technical skills and efficiency.
Assist in budgeting and cost control for maintenance operations.
Participate in equipment installation, upgrades, and facility improvement projects.
