Work Environment: This position will be conducted entirely via telehealth platforms, facilitating access to essential mental health services for clients who may have mobility issues or reside in remote locations. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for clients, integrating evidence-based screening tools and methodologies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create positive behavior support plans and engage in crisis intervention strategies. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in alignment with regulatory standards and organizational policies. Act as a liaison to local and state agencies, as well as community partners, to advocate for resources and services to improve outcomes for clients. Drive engagement in continual professional development activities, representing Avenue Psychotherapy Services at conferences and training workshops. Participate in internal reviews for licensing and accreditation to maintain high standards of practice and service delivery. Patient Population / Client FocusThe primary focus of this role will be working with older adults facing various mental health challenges related to aging, including cognitive decline, depression, anxiety, and grief. You will provide tailored counseling and therapeutic interventions that address the unique needs of this demographic, ensuring a compassionate approach grounded in respect and understanding of their life experiences.

Qualifications: A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution. A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in the state of Washington. A minimum of four years of recent experience in mental health counseling, particularly with geriatric clients.

Preferred Experience: Specialized training in geriatric mental health and familiarity with age-related issues. Previous experience working with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques.

Compensation and Benefits: The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 95,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
