Eurest, a division of Compass Group USA, is seeking an energetic, people-focused Assistant Manager to help lead operations at the prestigious Delta Sky Club at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a premier hospitality environment where exceptional service, culinary excellence, and memorable guest experiences are at the heart of everything we do. As the Assistant Manager, you will support the overall management of food and beverage operations, inspire and develop team members, ensure operational excellence, and uphold all company, client, and brand standards. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming, first-class experience for guests while driving team engagement, service quality, and operational success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists with managing food service operations in accordance with the approved budget while providing the client with the maximum value for the dollars spent.
- Ensures the food, service, and hospitality delivered to the client, customers, and associates of the Delta Sky Club is of superior quality.
- Assists with hiring, training, and development of all Delta Sky Club team members
- Supports all functions of the Delta Sky Club
- Maintains excellent relationships with associates, guests, and clients, as well as other departments within the operation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Flexible schedule/ Open availability is required - Opening, Closing & Weekends2 to 4 years of food service management experience.2 to 4 years of team leadership experience
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, bars, VIP lounges, corporate dining, and/or related food service operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food.
- Financial experience and business acumen skills.
- ServSafe Certification is preferred.
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the internet.
- Associate's degree is preferred.
