Freelance Onsource Quality Inspector

Position: On Source Quality Inspector (Electrical Components)

Key Responsibilities: Perform source inspections of electrical and electronic components at supplier facilities. Verify products against engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, IPC standards, and purchase order requirements. Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of PCBs, wiring harnesses, connectors, cable assemblies, switches, relays, and electromechanical assemblies. Review First Article Inspection (FAI), Certificates of Conformance (CoC), test reports, and inspection records. Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials (NCRs); support corrective actions (CAPA/8D).Ensure compliance with AS9100, IPC-A-610, customer quality requirements, and traceability standards. Coordinate with supplier, SQE, and quality teams for issue resolution and shipment release. Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain inspection documentation.
