Job Description:
We are seeking a licensed Hairstylist to serve general clientele, including children and families. This role emphasizes cuts and styling, as well as color and highlights, while providing a welcoming experience through a mix of salon-managed bookings, stylist-managed bookings, walk-ins, and appointments. Growth opportunities include advanced technical training and a path to senior stylist.
Responsibilities:
Conduct client consultations to understand service needs and preferences.
Provide haircuts, styling, blowouts, and heat-styling services.
Perform color services, including coloring and highlights.
Provide shampooing and chemical treatments.
Recommend products suited to clients’ hair-care needs.
Manage salon- and stylist-booked appointments while accommodating walk-ins.
Follow sanitation and disinfection procedures.
Build client relationships and support client retention.
Required Qualifications:
At least 1 year of hairstyling experience.
Completion of a cosmetology program.
Valid state cosmetology license.
Experience with hair cutting, hair coloring, blow-drying, and heat styling.
Knowledge of chemical treatments and sanitation and disinfection procedures.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
