Location: St. Marys, Ohio
Pay: $17.60 per hour
Shift: 3rd Shift11:30 PM–7:30 AMPosition Summary
We are seeking a dependable Grinder Operator to work in an automotive manufacturing environment specializing in metal stamping and precision grinding of transmission components.
Job Duties:
- Operate assigned grinding and production equipment
- Monitor equipment and report problems as needed
- Inspect parts to ensure quality requirements are met
- Use gauges and measuring tools as required
- Complete required production and quality documentation
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow established production and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience is not required; training is provided
- Ability to use gauges and measuring tools
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work with numbers and follow instructions
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform reaching and bending
- Must be available for overtime as required
- Steel-toe shoes required
- Comfortable working in dusty conditions
