American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 3+ years of inpatient/outpatient experience and pediatric/PICU experience for a 13-week assignment. Details Inpatient, outpatient, and ED patient population Pediatric and PICU patient experience required Evening shift, 5x7.5 hours from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PMPerforms C-arm, portable abdomen, and portable chest procedures Uses GE and Siemens imaging equipment along with PACS system Must work or provide on-call coverage for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years inpatient and/or outpatient experience requiredBLS requiredNJ license required (or Compact license), required if applicableARRT-R certification preferred
- Fluoroscopy permit preferred
- Epic experience preferred
- Experience with abdomen/GI imaging, lower and upper extremity imaging, spine and pelvis imaging, and chest/thorax imaging
- Experience with fluoroscopy studies such as barium swallow, contrast enema, and upper GI series preferred
- Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
Additional Information:
- Responsibilities include infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, preparation and administration of contrast media, and radiation safety
- Black scrubs required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Former employees of the health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
