Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking reliable and experienced Machine Operators to join our manufacturing warehouse team. This position is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. Ideal candidates will have previous experience working with industrial equipment and machinery in a fast-paced production environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for long-term employment based on performance, attendance, and business needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot manufacturing machinery and production equipment
- Perform machine adjustments and changeovers as needed for production runs
- Load raw materials and remove finished products from machinery safely and efficiently
- Inspect products during production to ensure quality standards are met
- Monitor machine performance and report malfunctions or maintenance concerns immediately
- Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance on equipment
- Follow production schedules, work orders, and operating procedures
- Accurately complete production logs, downtime reports, and quality documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
- Adhere to all company safety policies, GMPs, and OSHA regulations
- Assist other departments or production lines as needed
- Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience operating manufacturing production machinery required
- Experience with industrial equipment such as conveyors, fillers, packaging machines, presses, CNC machines, or automated production equipment preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, production schedules, and safety procedures
- Experience using measurement tools and performing quality inspections preferred
- Forklift certification or experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Physical Requirements:- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to work in a manufacturing warehouse environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures
- Must be able to wear required PPE at all times
