As Production General - Harvesting you: Perform a variety of specialized tasks in a warm, hot, or wet environment. Use appropriate tools, such as knives, hooks, or other specialized equipment. Perform physical tasks that require upper body strength and constant repetitive movements. Stand on hard surfaces all shift; use of ladders and personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in all areas of the facility. Compliance with all food safety policies and regulations. Comply with all safety and cleaning processes and procedures to ensure the safety of our employees, customers, and visitors. Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
(Required):Must be 18 years of age. Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship. Ability to work in a variety of warm, hot, wet, cold, slippery surface temperatures at varied heights within and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Ability to work extended hours from Monday to Saturday, with daily overtime. Must be able to work overtime as needed. Start times and hours vary according to production needs. Ability to perform job tasks with or without reasonable accommodations. Successfully completed training: Safety. Safe Food Quality (SQF). Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP). Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Food Defense.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous harvesting or manufacturing experience in a USDA inspected beef, pork, or poultry facility.
Previous production experience.
Work history within the last 12 months.
