Job Responsibilities:
Attend to the individual needs of clients which may include: Assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, and companionship. Perform homemaking activities which may include: Meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation. Interact with client in a manner that displays warmth and promotes a caring environment. Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the client's visitors and families.
A few must-haves for Personal Care Aides/Caregivers:
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferredCPR certification; our office can aid
- Clear Background Check & Drug Screen *We cover the cost
- Valid CA drivers license, auto insurance and transportation, preferred
- Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 35 lbs.#SanJose
