The Legal Billing Specialist ensures accurate, timely invoicing, billing compliance, client communication, and discrepancy resolution in coordination with attorneys and staff.
Responsibilities:- Review time entries and expenses for accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and process invoices
- Resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries with attorneys and staff
- Handle client billing matters professionally
- Support month-end reconciliation and reporting
- Maintain knowledge of billing practices and regulations
Qualifications:- 3+ years of legal billing or related experience
- Proficiency in ABA UTBMS Codes, LEDES1998B, and legal billing formats
- Accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Legal terminology and billing guideline knowledge preferred
