Description: American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab position requiring 2+ years of EP experience and VA or compact RN license. Details Work in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab and Pediatric EP Lab, including pre/post procedure and special procedures areas1:1 patient ratio Day shift, 4x10 hour schedule (0700-1730) On-call required for 1-2 Saturdays (0700-1200) within a 6-week schedule, plus 1 holiday on-call yearly Must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays Floating required within scope of practice as needed Uses Epic EMRRequirementsActive VA or compact RN license required Current ACLS and BLS certifications required; PALS preferred Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required Epic charting experience requiredBSN preferred Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred Proficiency in EP procedures including cardiac ablation, AICD insertion/programming, pacemaker insertion, LAA closure, and Watchman procedure required Skilled in cardiac cath lab procedures including TEE, lead extraction, and vascular closure devices Experience with antiarrhythmic, emergency, and procedural sedation medications required Competency in 12-lead EKG interpretation, dysrhythmia management, and procedural sedation monitoring required Two professional references required for consideration
