Energy Technician

Job Description: This is a field role supporting the Pottsvile, PA area. We are looking for an eager individual to join our team as an Energy Technician. This is an entry level position where you will work alongside team members and learn how to install energy efficiency measures to reduce home energy bills for residential customers. No prior experience needed. We provide on the job training where you will learn how to: Install energy savings measures including attic insulation (batts and blown), caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats and electric water heaters Perform minor repairs to include windows and doors Assist with loading and unloading work trucks Assist with keeping the job site organized and safe Assist with job site set up and tear down

Physical requirements: Able to work under different weather conditions including extreme hot and cold weather Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time Crawl, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or reach often working in crawl spaces and under mobile homes for part of the workday Use repetitive hand motion & use of basic hand and power tools Use of a ladder at various heights (up to 3 stories) Lift, carry or push up to 50 pounds as needed In this exciting career opportunity, you will have High School diploma and/or GED

Target Compensation: $20.25/hr This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record.
