TECHNICAL DESIGNER / SPEC TECHWe are looking for a talented, experienced, Spec Technician with good verbal and written communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Creating size specifications from children's 12 months to size 16 sleepwear and swimwear & intimates for both boys and girls GradingEvaluating and commenting on fit samples Explaining and diagramming for factories how to make corrections to garment constructionGENERAL REQUIREMENTS:Knowledge of pattern-making, sewing, and garment construction You should have strong product knowledge of children's sleepwear. Experience working on boy's and girls' sleepwear for the budget market. You should have a strong understanding of knit, and woven fabrications. Experience working with a variety of fabrics and fabric finishes. You must be; computer savvy, quick to learn, very organized, and detailed oriented, Intermediate-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator is required. Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in the budget sleepwear market. Knowledge of File Maker Pro is a plus.
