Sr. Manager Paid Social

Department: Paid Media

Salary: $100,000 – $125,000We are seeking a Paid Social Lead who is a true Meta expert, someone who has spent their career living inside Ads Manager and knows how to turn a media budget into predictable, profitable growth. This person will own paid social buying and optimization across Meta and TikTok for a portfolio of DTC brands in the beauty, home decor, and lifestyle spaces, and will be the connective tissue between performance, creative, and AI driven efficiency. This role is built for someone with an “art meets science” skillset, fluent in the mechanics of bidding, budgeting, and account structure, and equally sharp at briefing, testing, and optimizing creative, because on Meta, creative is the targeting. The ideal candidate has run paid social at an agency, has managed real budgets against real CAC and LTV targets, and has already started using AI tools to work faster and smarter, not just to buy media better.

Job Description: Develop full-funnel paid social media plans across Meta and TikTok, including channel and budget allocation by funnel stage (awareness, consideration, conversion), flighting, and pacing, translating brand and business goals into an actionable media strategy before execution begins. Own day to day paid social buying, budget pacing, and optimization across Meta (primary) and TikTok for a portfolio of DTC accounts. Build and manage campaign structures, bidding strategy, audience segmentation, and budget allocation to hit CPA, CAC and ROAS targets across the funnel. Serve as the account's Meta subject matter expert, staying ahead of platform updates, algorithm shifts, and new ad formats, and translating them into action before competitors catch on. Partner with creative and content teams to develop ad briefs grounded in what's actually working in the account, closing the loop between performance data and creative production. Design and run a disciplined creative testing roadmap (concepts, hooks, formats, angles), setting up tests correctly, reading results rigorously, and turning findings into next round briefs. Diagnose account and creative fatigue early, and prescribe specific fixes (new creative, audience refresh, structural changes) rather than just flagging the problem. Present paid social performance, insights, and recommendations directly to clients in weekly status meetings, owning the paid social narrative and fielding client questions in real time. Lead new client onboarding and setup within Meta and TikTok campaign managers, including account structure, pixel/conversions API implementation, and audience build-out (custom, lookalike, and CDP-sourced first-party segments) using connected CDP tools Bring hands on AI acumen to the role, using AI tools to accelerate creative briefing, reporting, QA, and account audits, and proactively identifying where automation can replace manual, repetitive work. Deliver clear, actionable performance reporting, translating raw platform data into a narrative of what's working, what isn't, and what to do next for both internal and client audiences. Maintain rigorous account hygiene and QA, proactively catching tracking issues, delivery gaps, and underperformance before they become client facing problems. Collaborate cross functionally with account leads, strategists, and internal leadership to ensure paid social execution ladders up to broader account and business goals. Qualifications4 to 6+ years of hands on paid social buying experience, with deep, demonstrable Meta Ads Manager expertise as the core of your skillset. 2+ years of management experience. Comfortable presenting directly to clients in a live setting (e.g., weekly status calls), not just producing written reports. Agency experience required, with a track record of managing real media budgets across multiple DTC client accounts. Working buying experience on TikTok and Meta Ads Managers. Experience buying on LinkedIn, Reddit, Pinterest, and Snapchat are preferred. Demonstrated experience building full-funnel media plans (not just executing within existing campaign structures), with the ability to translate business goals into channel, budget, and funnel-stage strategy. Proven “art meets science” track record, comfortable both in the numbers (ROAS, CAC, LTV, CPA) and in creative strategy, briefing, testing, and iterating on ad creative. Demonstrated use of AI tools in your workflow (for example, reporting, creative briefing, account audits, or process automation), with the ability to speak concretely to how you've used them to create efficiency. Strong analytical instincts and comfort in Meta Ads Manager, Ads Reporting, and third party analytics tools. Experience managing structured creative testing programs, from hypothesis through readout. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate performance data into a clear story for both internal teams and clients. Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable owning outcomes independently in a fast paced, multi account environment.
