Duration: 1 year contract with the possibility of another year extensionShift Schedule: 1st Shift 7:30am-4:00pm | 2nd Shift 3:30pm-12:00am | 3rd Shift 11:30pm-8:00am (24/7 coverage) Credentialing / Onboarding time: 6 weeks to 8 weeksCertifications: Certified Boiler Plant Operator license/certificationExperience needed: Minimum 5 years' experience in Boiler Plant Operator with commercial or hospital experienceSpecial Skills needed: Operation of multi-fuel water-tube/fire-tube boilersCombustion control adjustmentGas/fuel-oil switchingBoiler water chemistry testing/treatmentMonitoringResponsibilities: Start/regulate/secure boilersMaintain steam pressure/temperatureTest and document boiler water chemistryPerform minor repairs/PM on valves, pumps, burners, feedwater/condensate systemsRespond to boiler/steam alarms and after-hours trouble callsMisc: Must interpret manuals/directives/regulations and apply to full plant operation
