Support People. Build Relationships. Not every member walks through the door with the same need. Sometimes they need help with an everyday transaction. Sometimes they're looking for financial guidance. Sometimes they need someone who can help solve a problem. As our Assistant Branch Manager, you'll build relationships, help navigate financial decisions, support the branch teams, and step in when situations need a little extra attention. Some people complete transactions. Others build the relationships that keep members coming back. What You'll Be Building This role includes the member service and operational responsibilities you'd expect in a branch, but your impact goes beyond the transaction. You'll: Build relationships with members by understanding their needs and connecting them with their financial solutions that make sense. Help members with transactions, account services, consumer loans, and other everyday financial needs. Create a branch culture that balances service, growth, and employee development. Support and coach branch employees while helping with training, scheduling, feedback, and day-to-day team needs. Partner with the Branch Manager to support branch goals, operations, compliance, and the overall member experience. Build relationships with local businesses and represent Y-12 in the community. Why This Role Matters This role gives you the opportunity to: ✅ Help members navigate important financial decisions✅ Build meaningful relationships✅ Support and develop other employees✅ Grow your leadership experience✅ Connect with local businesses and the community One day you may be helping a member with an everday transaction. The next, you could be working through a lending decision, coaching an employee, solving a member problem, or building a new relationship in the community. That variety is what makes this role matter. You Might Be a Great Fit If... You enjoy helping people, building relationships, and being someone others can count on. You can balance member service, lending, problem-solving, and supporting a team while keeping the member experience at the center. Most importantly, you're ready to take ownership, continue growing, and help others succeed along the way. Relationships Matter Years from now, members won't remember every transaction. Employees won't remember every coaching conversation. But they'll remember the person who listened, followed through, solved the problem, and helped them feel confident about what came next. The work isn't always predictable. The answers aren't always simple. But helping members move forward, supporting your team, and building relationships is work that matters.
