Job Summary:
K&S Staffing Solutions is hiring a Fireplace Technician Apprentice / Technician Assistant to support experienced technicians in the installation, service, and maintenance of fireplace systems. This is an entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in a skilled trade with hands-on training.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with installation and servicing of gas, electric, and wood-burning fireplaces
- Support venting system setup and inspections
- Load/unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Prepare job sites and maintain clean, safe work areas
- Follow technician instructions during service calls and installs
- Perform basic troubleshooting support and maintenance tasks
Requirements:- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working indoors/outdoors in varying conditions
- Mechanically inclined with willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Strong work ethic and team mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
Construction or mechanical experience (preferred, not required) Basic hand/power tool knowledge
