WHO IS ABEL?
Abel is the AI toolkit for law enforcement — purpose-built to give officers their time back. Ourplatform includes Abel Writer, which turns body camera footage and officer-provided material intocompleted police reports, with an Investigator Mode for long-form interviews; Abel Chat, aCJIS-compliant assistant grounded in agency policy manuals and state code that answers with citedsources; Abel Translate, live in-field translation across 83 languages; and Abel Citizen, an onlinereporting portal that lets residents file reports that land in the RMS clean, translated, andNIBRS-ready. Patrol officers spend roughly one-third of every shift writing reports. Abel eliminates that burden. Early adopters at the Richmond PD completed five reports in under an hour using Abel — a taskthat previously consumed most of a shift. Officers and administrators describe Abel as aneed-to-have, not a nice-to-have.
