Technology Audit & Risk Advisory Consultant

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Technology Audit & Risk Advisory Manager / Senior Manager to lead client engagements focused on technology risk, cybersecurity, IT controls, governance, compliance, cloud technologies, and digital transformation initiatives. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, helping organizations strengthen risk and control environments, address complex technology challenges, and leverage modern technologies, analytics, and automation to drive business performance. The role combines client-facing consulting, project leadership, business development, and team leadership within a dynamic and growing advisory practice.

Core Responsibilities: Lead technology audit, IT risk, and advisory engagements for complex client environments. Advise clients on cybersecurity, cloud risk, IT governance, data governance, privacy, resiliency, and regulatory compliance initiatives. Assess and improve IT controls, risk management frameworks, and technology governance programs. Build and maintain executive-level client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand service offerings. Manage, mentor, and develop consulting teams while overseeing project delivery and quality standards. Utilize analytics, automation, AI, and emerging technologies to improve risk assessments and audit effectiveness.

Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience in technology audit, IT risk, cybersecurity, consulting, governance, or advisory services. Strong knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGCs), IT SOX, risk management frameworks, and internal controls. Experience with cybersecurity, cloud technologies, data governance, privacy, resilience, and enterprise applications. Proven client management, project leadership, and team development experience. Excellent communication and executive stakeholder engagement skills.

Ideal Candidate Profile: Ideal candidates will come from consulting, public accounting, advisory, or internal audit environments and have experience leading technology risk and audit programs for large organizations. Successful candidates are equal parts advisor, relationship manager, and subject matter expert, with deep knowledge of IT controls, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, governance, and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Certifications: CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA, CRISC, or similar.
