Nutritionist (Registered Dietitian) WakeMed is seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Nutritionist (Registered Dietitian) to provide outpatient nutrition counseling and education to individuals and families across a variety of health and wellness programs. In this role, you will empower patients to make informed nutrition choices that support healthier lifestyles and improved health outcomes.
What You'll Do:
Provide individualized outpatient nutrition counseling and
nutrition care plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
Support patients participating in programs such as:
- Pediatric Weight Management
- Cardiac Rehabilitation
- Employee Wellness
- Outpatient Nutrition Services
- Primary Care Programs
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition recommendations as needed.
Promote healthy lifestyle behaviors through evidence-based nutrition practices.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required.
Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) credential required.
Previous experience in outpatient nutrition counseling preferred.
