Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground distribution systems
Perform climbing and aerial work independently on routine tasks
Safely assist in energized line work within certification level
Set poles, frame structures, and install conductors and transformers
Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, and related equipment
Read and interpret work orders, maps, and basic drawings
Mentor Lineman C and Groundhands in proper procedures
Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT/FMCSA, and company safety standards
Complete required documentation accurately (inspections, logs, etc.)
Requirements:
Several years of powerline experience
Demonstrated progression in climbing and linework skills
CDL Class A required
Working knowledge of energized work practices and utility standards
Strong safety awareness and communication skills
Working Conditions:
Work is performed outside in all types of weather environments.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, climb, stoop, stand, and lift for long periods of time.
Substantial movements of the hands, wrists, and/or fingers.
Required to have close visual acuity to perform job duties.
