Future Stunning Colleague At Arcadian Bank, it is our philosophy to attract, retain, and develop the people necessary to fulfill our mission, which is to improve the lives of our people, customers, shareholders, and communities. For that reason, we encourage all high-quality candidates to send us their resume, regardless of whether a particular position is currently available. A high-quality candidate is someone who holds the same values as we do and who would thrive in our culture. Candidates who submit through this posting that we feel are a good fit within the culture described below will be held in a Key Applicant File. When a position does become available, that will be the first place we look to fill the role. We may not even post the position publicly, instead filling it from this list. For the right candidate, we may create a position that does not currently exist. Key elements of our culture are as follows: At Arcadian Bank, we hire and promote people who demonstrate the following nine behaviors and skills: judgement, communication, impact, curiosity, innovation, courage, passion, honesty, and selflessness. We care about accomplishing great work. Our high-performance culture is not right for everyone. Being surrounded by talented, high-performing coworkers is stressful if one does not perform up to that level. For those who fit in this culture, they won't even notice that fact because they are too busy accomplishing great things. Our goal is to increase employee freedom as we grow, rather than to limit it. This is done by adding ever more high-performance people rather than adding rules. We strive to attract and nourish innovative people, so we have better chance of sustained success. Then we can continue to mostly run informally with self-discipline. Our leaders figure out how to achieve great outcomes by setting the appropriate context, rather than by trying to control our people. They provide the insight and understanding to enable sound decisions. We believe that one outstanding employee gets more done and costs less than two adequate employees. We endeavor to have only outstanding employees. We want all of our employees to be "top 10%" relative to the pool of candidates. For this reason, paying top of market is core to our high-performance culture. We develop people by giving them the opportunity to develop themselves. We want our people to manage their own career growth. Economic security is based on an individual's skills and reputation, so we try hard to consistently provide opportunities to grow both of those by surrounding our people with stunning colleagues and giving them big challenges to work on. At Arcadian Bank, we believe there is always something on which we can improve or some product that we can introduce to better meet our customers' needs. We do not wait for there to be overwhelming evidence that we need to change. We require overwhelming evidence that things should stay the same. Current process, procedure, strategy, and culture must always prove that it is the best available option today. Skills and attributes: Strong and effective written and verbal communication Ability to present, promote, and service bank products Must interact effectively with all internal and external levels of an organization Ability to multi-task, organize projects, and prioritize Problem analysis and resolution Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows, Internet, and other software Adept at maintaining discretion and confidentiality Ability to interpret regulations and reports Ability to exercise good judgment in establishing and maintaining working relationships High level of accuracy, focus, and timeliness If you feel you would be a fit for our organization, we encourage you to submit your resume and cover letter. While there may not be a position currently open, we are always seeking individuals who resonate with our culture. Our full Culture Document expands upon the ideas above and is available upon request. The Culture Document will be discussed in detail with candidates that intrigue us. We are an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, gender, sexual preference or orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, disability, veteran status and all other protected classes.
