New Home Counselor – City Living by Legacy South
Location: Nashville, TN Area
About Legacy South At Legacy South, our core focus is building communities at the intersection of people and place. We offer the City Living brand, tailored for urban-minded people who value intentional living, design aesthetic, and proximity to the city’s cultural, social, and professional opportunities. We are unified by Core Values, including Giving the Gift of Home, Unexpected Moments, Get Better Every Day, and Disciplined Execution.
Position Summary:
The New Home Counselor (NHC) is the face of Legacy South’s City Living brand and owns the entire customer relationship from first interaction through closing. As both storyteller and guide, the NHC leads the buyer through every step of the Legacy South Proven Process — from discovering their dream home at the Model Home Gallery to moving into a thriving community that feels like home. This role blends sales, relationship management, and customer experience — ensuring a consistent, transparent, and emotionally engaging process for every buyer.
What You’ll Do:
Welcome visitors to our model home gallery, listen to their needs, and help them imagine what life could look like in a new home. Lead guided home tours that highlight comfort, design, and lifestyle benefits — not just features or square footage. Help customers personalize their home, using our design software to show how finishes and layouts can reflect their style. Introduce buyers to the right community based on how and where they want to live — proximity to work, lifestyle, and budget. Walk buyers through the purchase process — from choosing their home and securing financing to signing their contract and closing. Stay in touch through construction with regular updates and check-ins so customers always know what’s happening. Celebrate move-in day with thoughtful touches that make the moment special. Encourage referrals by building strong relationships that turn happy homeowners into raving fans. Use our CRM tools to stay organized, track leads, and follow up consistently so no buyer slips through the cracks.
Who You Are:
Motivated & Self Driven. You set goals, take initiative, and thrive when your success is measured by results. You should live by our value of Getting Better Everyday Organized. You can manage multiple buyers, details, and deadlines without losing track. Tech-comfortable. You can use digital tools to manage leads, show home design options, and keep buyers informed. You see technology as a tool, not extra work. A clear communicator. You can explain complex things — like financing or design choices — in simple, friendly language. Curious and coachable. You like learning new ways to improve your process and grow your skills. Positive and professional. You show up with energy, empathy, and reliability every day.
