Job Responsibilities: Control conveyors that run the entire length of shuttle cars to distribute loads as loading progressesManeuver shuttle cars into position for loading and unloadingPosition material handling equipmentDrive loaded shuttle cars to conveyors, having full awareness of other miners, mining equipment, power cable, and move controls to discharge loads onto conveyorsObserve hand signals, light signal, grade stakes, or other markings when operating machinesSignal others to coordinate vehicle movementClean, fuel, and service equipment, and repair and replace parts as necessaryClean machinery or equipmentMonitor loading processes to ensure that materials are loaded according to mining conditionsFollow Company Policies, State, and Federal Laws
