Complexity of WorkIntermediate knowledge of laboratory procedures and instrumentation. Ability to effectively relate and communicate with internal and external customers. Intermediate knowledge of laboratory information systems. Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work ExperienceMinimum of three (3) years' experience required as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist. Other InformationAdditional Education Info: Associate's degree with five (5) years or more of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree. Bachelor's degree required to assess competency. Additional Cert/License Info: Florida State License as a Technologist (TN License) or Supervisor (SU License) in the area of responsibility.
