- Proactively identify and resolve operational issues before they escalated
- Manage and support drivers with clear expectations and accountability
- Communicate operational updates, risks, and trends to ownership daily
- Submit detailed end-of-day reports that include: operational challenges, driver issues or wins, morale and team culture observations, and equipment or maintenance concerns.
- Support staffing needs, onboarding, and driver performance improvement
- Ensure compliance with FedEx policies, safety standards, and contractual requirements
What We're Looking For:- Strong leadership presence — not afraid to make decisions
- Proactive problem-solver who does not wait to be told what to doComfortable holding drivers accountable while maintaining respect
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to manage pressure, deadlines, and changing priorities
- Experience in logistics, delivery operations, warehouse ops, or transportation preferred
- FedEx Ground experience strongly preferred, but not required for the right leader
What Success Looks Like:- Ownership is not surprised by operational issues
- Drivers know expectations and feel supported and managed
- Problems are addressed early, not after escalation
- Operations run smoothly without constant owner involvement
Why Join:- A Tru Legacy
- Growing operation with expansion opportunities
- Direct impact on company growth and performance
- Leadership role with visibility and influence
- Opportunity to grow alongside the business as contracts expand
