Explore Asheville, NCIn North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains, Asheville pairs a creative downtown with direct access to Pisgah National Forest and the River Arts District. Mission Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, anchors care for the surrounding mountain communities, while rehab centers and occupational-therapy clinics handle a visible share of the local caseload for residents and year-round visitors alike. Some clinicians base themselves in nearby Hendersonville or Weaverville. Both are close enough to assignment sites but set in quieter residential surroundings a short drive out. Between shifts, the Biltmore Estate, the city's music venues, and its mountain trails shape an easy daily rhythm, the kind of off-hours scene that tends to define an Asheville assignment as much as the work itself.
